    [Misc] Paper rounds

I had a round at Taylor’s in Hove in the mid 80’s, they were the best players and seemed to have the monopoly on Church Rd and surrounding area. I think it was £10 Mon to Sat, and then £3 a round on Sundays. You could easily pick up a couple of extra rounds on a Sunday if you wanted them, and...

[Albion] Brighton & Hove Albion vs Chelsea *** Official Match Thread ***

Just wish it wasn’t Chelsea we‘d lost to. That victory cost them approx £225m

[Albion] Mahmoud Dahoud (Loaned to VfB Stuttgart 31/01/24)

My first thought when it went in was, OG. And i'm still pretty sure the defender gets enough of a touch for the 'dubious goals commitee' to get involved. It's a team sport and a team goal, and it cemented 3 points for us, so I don't care who gets the end credit..

    [Food] Ketchup on a pie

I quite like the flavour combo of a Pukka steak pie with some ketchup, not loads though. As for the stadium pies, they are nice but with the new packaging(if a cardboard thong can be termed as packaging), a significant percentage of the contents often ends up on my lap/the floor

[Albion] Teams for Chelsea and Villa

This looks pretty strong to me, but I doubt he'll want to risk Fati. RdZ is definitely seeing something in Bounanotte that the fans are not, so it maybe that he gets another chance

[Albion] AEK Athens (least bad) Man of the Match

Gone with Gilmour, but we were out-muscled and out-thought for most of last night. I thought we really missed Ferguson or even Welbeck(although he is less so) as a focal point number 9 staying central

    9. If we win a notable trophy then it’s a 10. Such an incredible time to be a Brighton fan!

[Albion] Which goal did you enjoy the most?

The third. At 2 nil the game is still in the balance and going to 2-1 offers a momentum shift. Getting a third, and from there it’s much harder to f**k it up

[Albion] Playing the ball out from the back

Sometimes watching us is a bit ’heart in mouth’ but the you read the Dunk interview and the level of detail that goes into it, and it seems that RDZ won’t play a player until it’s fully bought into, affirms what he is coaching and the expectation.

[Albion] *new* Europa League Limited Edition "Pavilion" Kit

Let’s see then. lve managed to place an order and got an order number, but not received a confirmation email. Mrs S ordered a hoodie in first roll out, but has now been charged twice. it would seem this hasn’t gone very well so far…..

[Albion] At what point do we STOP being a selling club

The great thing at the moment is, we don’t have to sell. Players move on, that’s inevitable but at no point do we put them up for sale. We’ll never compete in paying the highest wages, so if that’s a player’s ultimate motivation then we’ll always be a stepping stone(albeit one that generates top...

[Other Sport] Eubank Jr v Smith

I did wonder if Jnr could keep up the pace, as he seemed to start rapidly. And it seemed he would tire when he had Smith on the ropes, but he was relentles. The score card at the end of the 8th had him 8 points up(I think), from there all he’d had to do was make sure he could stay the distance.
