Having just found the video, it was in 1988, which means I was 8 or 9 at the time. Not impossible that I had an earlier crush, but Belinda's the earliest one I remember.

I was 14 and full of testosterone - Belinda Carlisle was one of my biggest crushes in the late '80s...absolutely gorgeous.
