To be fair that was in the Championship. Does seem bizarre that Arsenal pay £50m for a player who played the whole season in a back 3 and then play him in the centre of a back 4!

Agreed - his attitude could not be faulted yesterday and he was feeding off scraps. With the right service and partner I think he could be a real asset this season.

For me he just needs a striking partner. Won possession lots by forcing errors from defence/keeper. On his own I agree he can be easy to defend against but with someone alongside offering a different threat I think he is more than capable.

Fair enough - all about opinions but I didn't think he did much wrong.

Oh absolutely - not counting any chickens until he's holding the shirt and the contract is signed. Great player though and I'd love it if we signed him.

I've followed him (for various reasons!!) for a couple of years. He is very attacking and more than capable of doing a good job at LWB as well as LB. If we get it over the line it would be a great signing.
