In that heat, that was a very long night. Fantastic to be there, we were all surprised not to see Samoa Joe or Finn Balor involved, as both were heavily involved during the week leading up. The Hardy's think everyone saw coming, but was great to actually see it.
I'm here, or there depending how you look at it. After our son's leukaemia battle last year, he was granted a wish, which was to have tickets for wrestlemania. We've had an amazing weekend so far far, yesterday he had his circle of champions ceremony, which he loved.
Very close to home after our own events of the past year. The courage, bravery and spirit all these children have is amazing and very humbling. What a fantastic gesture from both clubs.
Didn't Dean Wilkins and Robert Codner have some pushing and handbags? Think it was over who took a free kick, very surprising as they weren't the most physical of players.
Just wanted to say again a massive thank you to the club, and everyone I've been involved with and had contact with there. Our son has finally been discharged as an inpatient, although still needing to go up to the Alex for daily blood tests. His treatment is finished, and we're waiting for his...
I donate, although haven't done this year as just not had chance. The main reason I'm responding though is to thank you all and anyone else who donates :bowdown:. I never realised or thought of the ways donated blood is used, I assumed it was just accidents and sometimes operations and...
So just a quick update, after a very long and to degree complex and problem filled summer today is the day. After 54 doses of chemo and countless blood and platelet transfusions my son's treatment finishes, and his recovery can begin. He'll still be in Great Ormond Street for the foreseeable...
Just wanted to give you all an update. The first cycle of chemo went very well and was successful in its purpose and a good remission was achieved. We're now into the second cycle, so dealing with the side effects again. He seems in a very good place physically and mentally (although in his...
Last Tuesday my 12 year old son was rushed into Great Ormond Street hospital with leukemia, he will be spending the next 6 months here receiving chemotherapy, and possibly bone marrow transplant. On Friday my sister in law contacted the club to see if they could sign a get well card she'd bought...
Boggy Creak is on the list, last time we done Wild Florida which was great so gonna go for the same but different and heard very good things about them. Unfortunately, with Discovery Cove our youngest is 6 which is too young for the full experience, maybe in a few years as we'd love to do it...
Three weeks in Florida, starting with a weekend in Miami, then Clearwater/Tampa for 5 days, then up to Orlando for 2 weeks. August 20th can't cone quick enough. Then a weekend in Prague for my 40th in June or July.
