That is incredibly harsh. Think the three girls were about ten and our son was 11. I think we even used having a chat about the tooth fairy so they knew we weren’t lying about Santa.
Not sure to be honest didn’t look too much in to it. Seemed to suggest direct to Victoria, then tube to Canon Street then train from there to London Bridge.
Well firstly we'd have to do something we've never done before, and that's beat USA in the World Cup, so that should be the thing to concentrate on most.
To be fair, that other Albion fan was a bit of a legend. There were certainly at least 2 occasions I recall seeing more teachers in the North Stand then fellow kids.
We beat Torquay 6-2 at Withdean, second season there I think. I do remember the game very well though, Zamora hatrick with a Nathan Jones brace. We were 3 nil and cruising then they pulled it back to 3-2, before we kicked on again. Seem to recall Helen Chamberlain and Mark Williams being paraded...
Sorry, I definitely meant Barnet on Boxing Day. Must of used wrong quote, Torquay was New Year’s Day, but I didn’t go to that one, was one of the few I missed that season.
If it was Boxing Day 2000 I’d have to agree, well wettest away game, I was stood underneath a constantly dripping drain for 2 hours. Wettest I’ve been at any game has to be the Swindon Play-Off game and the thunderstorms that night, both obviously worth every drop of water.
We’ve certainly not needed any ID at all for the matches at the Amex. Not saying no one has been asked to prove who they are, but we certainly haven’t.
