I'm on my third shredder and have used them until they wear out.
I shred woody material separately and use it to make (and recover) a path at the back of my garden between beds, the greener stuff is shredded to make great compost in my three compost bins.
Yesterday and today it has been used...

Another vote here for Chapel Down. We went to their Vinyard Tour and dinner a few months ago (pre lockdown) - great day out (although we stayed overnight in a local Inn).
If it helps: I'm having all the gutters and downpipes replaced in my detached 4 bed house, by a reputable builder (who coincidentally lives 2 doors away from me).
Total quoted cost £700. He's recently built his own extension and replaced his own gutters so he knows how much work it'll take.
I disagree. Their associated articles (eg page 152) support taking the knee and argue that it should be continued.
It's a silly sensationalist headline though.
