If you read up on the psychology of Messi, essentially an introverted, somewhat socially awkward personality, he craves the security of a familiar language and a familiar club where he is cocooned and feted, and you can understand why he has stayed there.
Messi won’t go anywhere, he cant exactly sign for another Spanish club and England and Germany are too far outside of his safe little comfort zone, which leaves the unlikely step down of Boca or River Plate.
Was at Brighton station Wednesday evening around 8pm and the train (one of the swanky new white ones) bound for Cambridge was absolutely rammed, standing room only 15 minutes before departure....on a Wednesday...at 8pm...
:lolol: I think you need to take up the reigns and I’ll revert back to my old username Harold as you’re more on the game than me as usual! I even read through the thread with no suspicions! :lolol:
Don’t mind Charlton as a club, but the posters in Sussex while we were absolutely on our knees, fighting for our survival, was a pretty despicable act.
Couldn’t give a shit about Wolves and certainly don’t wish any good fortune on a PL rival. Some people.
To ‘paraphrase’ the Gareth Bale Welsh flag slogan: ‘BHA. BHA. BHA’
The scourge of us sea swimmers who like to go out a way (see also kite surfers, although far preferable getting killed by one of them than a frickin' jetski)
Was going to start a similar thread asking how many people who own either sea kayaks or SUPs use them long term. Even SUPs, inflatable or rigid, require regular maintenance, including sunscreen application etc. Wondered if the appeal soon wore off, especially with the logistics of transporting.
Never use ‘fair enough’ when you can use ‘hairy muff.’ You’ve cocked up enough already on this thread for one day don’t you think, without ballsing that up as well?
Bale hasn’t apparently bothered learning much Spanish. Respect to him though for saying if I’m not playing I’m not travelling. Zidane must have loved that one :lolol:
