[Food] Ever done something silly and not told the DORIS ?

It's not that much effort for the easy stuff, I'm doing it as well, haven't done casino stuff so stuck to sports and doing NCO's and taking up the email offers. I have 3 sets of accounts though so x3 the returns. I'm over 3k up in the 15 months I've been doing it. I keep 1k as a float and have...

[Food] Ever done something silly and not told the DORIS ?

I let my 5 year old help me wash the car a couple of weeks ago, her job was to wipe the car down after I'd washed to get rid of the drip marks. Unbeknownst to me at the time she dropped the chamois on the floor at some point. And then proceeded to wipe it all over the car. Hence lots of...

    [Football] Return of football. Bothered?

I'm not missing it at all really, just feels like an extended summer without major tournament to watch, although it was getting a bit nervy every week watching our drop in form. Perhaps the respite will do us all good. I don't really know how I'll feel until I sit down to watch the first match.

    [Misc] Care Homes

I wouldn't go near Deanwood at the moment. Its a good home but it is currently dealing with a Covid19 outbreak. I only know this because my wifes Nan was in there until a fortnight ago. She died from Covid19 and there have been other deaths too. The funeral is tomorrow.

    [Misc] I'm so bored

I cant WFH so still at work full time but condensed hours so only working mon-thurs which is nice as have a 3 day weekend so can spend more time at home with the wife and our 2 young daughters. Complete overtime ban is the downer so I'm about £500 a month down on income which is hurting a bit...

[Film] A film you have re watched in lockdown that you forgot how good it was

I've got an IPTV provider on my firestick. Get all my stuff through that now. Costs me £60 for the year. Its excellent, better quality and much more reliable than just using a free Kodi build.

[Film] A film you have re watched in lockdown that you forgot how good it was

I watched The Gentlemen again. (I know its recent but it's still good). Watched Back To The Future last night and will watch The Departed tonight. I want to give this Gangs of London a go soon as well but need to finish Hunters first.

[Misc] How do you get on with your immediate neighbours?

We live in a terrace of 4 and in one of the middle 2, the bloke on our left is ok, hes very quiet and keeps himself to himself, just a quick chat now and then when were both out the front. The lady the other side can be difficult, she regularly gets shirty when I'm smoking out the back, I do...

    [Food] Crisps.

I'm a big fan of the classic Hula Hoops. Plain or bbq. Used to love grilled steak wheat crunches but haven't seen that flavour for years, just bacon ones. Also partial to the occasional Quavers or Wotsits but not very often.

[Brighton] A nerdy question on Brighton phone numbers

Grew up in woodingdean, born in 1978. I remember our number being 37955, I'm pretty sure it changed in the late 80's to 307955. Certainly before I went to senior school in 1990. When Nynex came round and we got cable it changed to 706127 in the early 1990's. Those numbers are long gone now.

[Misc] Will you Grow your Hair Out or Will You Do it Yourself?

Been clippering my own for 22 years. Hair started thinning when I was 19.. I'm only 41. I've had no hair for more of my life than I've had it. Saved a fortune on hairdressers and shampoo but spend a bit on hats in winter and suncream in summer.... Swings and roundabouts and all that.

Is it a mistake to focus on social distancing of 2m?

It's not your arm span, that's near enough your height. A metre is roughly from an outstretched hand to the opposite shoulder. Like Usain Bolts pose, from the end of his hand to the other shoulder. That's how we used to measure lengths when data cabling. Not exact but not far off if your 5'10"...

Same as us. We need baby food too. I hope the restrictions dont apply to that otherwise I'm going to be somewhat unhappy.
