[Albion] Surely we must have some decent free kick takers in this squad?

He hit the bar this season didn't he? I can't remember who it was against.

[Albion] Gut feeling - RDZ staying or going after this season?

This is the big question though. Has he done enough? 8th place and out of all the cups without a QF in any of them is OK for us but what is it about that record that's grabbing the attention of a club with intentions to win the big trophies?

[Albion] 10 games to go, can we get European qualification again?

We'll need to win 5 of our 10 (very hard) matches to have a chance. If we play like we did last night and get Pedro back I think we can do it. We need to make sure we beat Burnley plus at least one of Brentford and Bournemouth. Then we need to pull off some wins at home - Villa, Chelsea and...

[Albion] Europa League campaign 23/24 - what was your highlight?

I enjoyed every minute of every match. What an experience. I so hope we can qualify and do it all again next season as it really is special. Top moment? Has to be the half an hour or so after the final whistle at Athens away, culminating in the tear gassing.

    [Albion] Premier League 9-11/3/24

Incredible really that a team in the title race with a full 30 minutes to play seems to resort to diving as the preferred tactic over trying to score a goal. Come on Brentford.

[Albion] Italian train strike [National Strike Fri. 8th March]

Is there any way of knowing how much the strike will affect Friday flights at this point? Or will we not know until the day?

[Albion] Team for Roma next week?

Is Pedro at all close to the bench yet?

Professional club should be the qualifying factor surely?

[Football] Who Are The Biggest One-Team City In The World?

Hard to see past Naples here. It has a population of almost 1 million.

[Albion] Chelsea line up de Zerbi and Amorim to replace Pochettino…

Chelsea will stick with Pochettino at least to start with next season in my opinion.

I love F1 but I'm not sure I can watch a whole season of this.

[Albion] Italian train strike [National Strike Fri. 8th March]

What's the deal with taxis on the Friday? Are they part of the strike? Or is it just that they'll be harder to find as more people will need them?

[Albion] Roma tickets - number remaining tier to tier

Surely points are allocated for each game not on distance or cost, but on demand. The fact this game is 1,000 miles away and costs £500+ per person is irrelevant. Lots of people want to go hence it's 5 points.

[Albion] Are you going to Rome? + ticket allocation / purchase discussion!

This makes me feel like I should double check what country I live in.

[Football] EFL Cup Final - The Thread

He landed on him but he didn't make any move towards him, no arms raised, no intent. He simply didn't retreat. Chilwell is the one who started the pushing.

[Football] EFL Cup Final - The Thread

Why do refs have a default setting to book both players in the event of any scuffle? Bradley did absolutely nothing in that clash yet ends with a yellow. Meanwhile, Caicedo is up to 5 or 6 fouls and still nothing.

[Football] EFL Cup Final - The Thread

How on earth is Caicedo not even on a yellow? First one was possibly a yellow, second was borderline yellow/red. How can that add up to nothing at all?

[Football] EFL Cup Final - The Thread

So true! Man City, the actual champions of Europe, have played Young Boys, Red Star Belgrade, Leipzig and Copenhagen so far this season. We've had Ajax, Marseille, Athens and Roma. I'd say three of our trips have been better than all of their four. And even our lowest profile opponent, AEK...

[Football] EFL Cup Final - The Thread

Absolutely. If we were in the Conference League next season I wouldn't fancy all the away games like I do in the Europa. But we'd probably get at least a couple of good trips out of it which would have been unthinkable before this season. Ajax, USG, Lille, Molde, Brugge, Olympiacos and Sturm...
