Not sure how I qualified but saw every game, home & away including ALL the FA Cup games. Remember queuing for hours (must have been for replay) as tickets were sold from just a couple of windows.
I don't know if we were supposed to join in with Abide With Me but I suspect everybody else, just like me, felt to choked to sing a note and, like the poster above, I also couldn't join in with GOSBTS. Great tribute, well done to all who put it together.
FG was 'customer centric' way beyond his time. He had a letters page in the programme for off pitch topics and people would write about the lack of toilet rolls & towells in the toilets and he also had concrete put down at some turnstiles, which previously would just become puddles of mud. All...
I know staff and it's much as said above. The whole eggs are in the 'digital' basket and there will be just a few 'super locations' up North, no more local offices all done on line or on phone. Apparently it's "What the public want", maybe the result of an online survey?

Lived up to her 'filth' reputation on ITV tonighjt, something about Royal heritage, with tight leather trousers and then in some strange undies but, can someone confirm, in the bit where she tasted some meat (as only she can) did she really say "and this is the money shot"?

It is a sad demise for a Sussex Institution that lost it's way. Look at the local papers around lewes, Wothing, Eastbourne ot the Brighton Independent, they have a lively mix of really LOCAL news by local reporters
As above. Will go and take some g'kids.
Hopefully Albion will also market it to the many Spanish and other overseas tourists. It's a pity that they would have to go out to the Amex and be given the 3rd degree before they could buy tickets though.
I actually remember Falmer village before it had a dual carriageway through it. One of the joys of being a youngster back in the days before they invented colour was taking a walk from Coldean to the fair at Falmer. Maybe that should be Fayre as there were no rides, just lots of hay and noisey...
