No Europe points gatherers, trains already extortionate. A ground that a lot of people would've ticked off. Hardest one to sell in the league all season.
We're in a bit of a bad run. It's a Sunday 2pm kick off against a struggling side who don't exactly play the best football. Lots of new people/fans who don't normally come were there today due to tickets going on the exchange because of Mother's Day and people coming back from Rome. Compound...
Hard hat already on because I know I'm going to get pelters here, but a way to avoid the "only here for the points" mentality would be to not reveal how many points is available for each game. They just get added after and only then do you find out. Would ensure that people are there to support...
It will depend on where you are in the country, but it’s usually between 7-10 days before the fixture that people get them through the letterbox. If they aren’t with you by Thursday or Friday then get onto the ticket office
I can see this being the penultimate week of the season. At least 1 club highly likely to make the FA Cup quarter finals plus potentially both clubs going deep in their European competitions.
Also if the game is anywhere near as entertaining (for the neutral) as it was last season, then Sky...
If you're going up Saturday or early Sunday, head to The Grapes on Trippet Lane. Lots of old school memorabilia relating to history and music and where Arctic Monkeys played their first ever show. A bit out of the way but a brilliant boozer. Went there pre the cup game.
Are you actually surprised that we aren't taking many to a midweek game given the following:
It's not a new ground for a lot of the regular away following
It's live on a free to air platform
It will require taking at least a half day of annual leave for most people
It's very difficult to get...
Go to Liverpool Street and get the London overground to White Hart Lane. Seven Sisters is ok getting to the ground but a nightmare getting from, plus the walk from SS is through a complete dive which makes Croydon look Utopian.
For the 0-0 up there last game before lockdown when McAllister made his debut, we were given the sideline stand but then relocated to the corner as we hadn’t sold enough to warrant the sideline stand. Wonder if that’ll happen again. Not sure if Wolves are selling the corner to their fans already.
