I'm sure me and my 6 year old daughter have already had it. I was really ill in January with what I thought was a bad chest infection and cold and so was she.
I've had to isolate twice since the summer now costing me a frigging fortune.
My wife tested positive last month so we had round 2 of...
Good question. The more things like this are done it soon becomes "the norm" then society starts to get bored with it and the impact it originally had gets diluted over time. Unfortunately thats what happens. The Last Post is only done once a year at football and 11/11 and the minutes silence is...
We had a young lad start with us fresh out of college, who decided on his first day to rock up wearing a hoodie and use the lathe.
He got pulled off the machines straight away and got a proper bollocking. Just thinking what could have happened if one of the neck cords had got tangled up makes...
I do a bit of manual lathe and milling at work. Scary machines as once I went to flick a bit of swarf from a countersink tool whilst it was still spinning and it caught my glove and pulled me into the machine. Luckily I was at quite a high speed and managed to stall the machine out.
Seen some...
Get everyone to stand on the goal line to make an actual wall, giving the players the direction its heading for time to jump and head clear, with Maty in front of them to do his best at saving it???
Woke up this morning with the magnificent **** that is gout in my foot so a few days off for me.
I've drunk so much during isolation I'm surprised my liver and kidneys haven't died. I drank 11 cans of strongbow last night and apart from the gout I felt absolutely fine and have done all day...
I opened this thread hoping i could help a little as i used excel at school back in 1995. I have no idea what you're all on about..... Will a hammer help?
Was just about to post the same:annoyed:
For me it all depends on the time of day I'm eating it.
Breakfast is usually fine cut marmalade or strawberry jam, both if I'm having 3 slices (just one jammed slice, 2 marmalade)
Lunchtime toast is virtually always a lot of butter and topped with...
Cheers mate. That **** its happened now so I can get isolation over with before I start the new job.
Just told this place and I'm on SSP. ****ing wankers. They pay staff on furlough and top them up, allow the office bods to work from home, but put us shop floor staff who HAD to come in straight...
My wife had a positive test result come through over night. She has been fatigued and her sinuses were bad over the weekend. She feels a lot better now her sinuses are clearing up but her chest feels OK.
Her symptoms started on Saturday thinking it was just a cold. Its that time of year after...
If I'm home alone and channel hopping, if I see Tom & Jerry I still stop and watch it for a bit. Used to love it and still enjoy it.
Roadrunner was my absolute favourite though but I havent seen it on any channels for a long time now:nono:
I'm going to continue being professional throughout my notice.
The MD is a complete and utter **** most of the time. You never do anything right in his eyes, its his way at all times (even if your suggestion is quicker and easier). He comes along and starts having a go for no reason just...
I have the engagement letter as a draft from the new company. After I've handed my notice in I can update the new company with my start date and go to meet them after work tomorrow to sign everything.
I'm still smiling and I get to hand in my notice tomorrow.... its the first time in a long time I've looked forward to going in to work on a Monday morning for a while...:)
Thankyou:)
I'm properly hanging out of my backside this morning. I think I'm allergic to Proseccco. I never feel this bad just drinking cider...:annoyed::down::sick:
