In a city the size of Barcelona with so many hotels it is quite amazing how many NSCers have stayed at this same, funky hotel.
Either it is because it is comparatively cheap or maybe the OTT sparkly pink decor just appeals the 'Brighton' side of us :lolol:
These are always a useful backup - just go to a stationers or post office and buy a pack of blank postcards (not the ones with pictures of Worthing Pier!).
You can also hand them over afterwards as a momento of the day.
Not forgetting the tradition Dad joke that weddings are emotional occasions as even the cake is in tiers.
However, I'm told the other joke about "why do brides wear white? To match the other domestic appliances" is no longer seen as acceptable:)
I’m hybrid but the WFH days give me flexibility around certain domestic things but likewise, I sometimes have early or late meetings with colleagues across the world so there is both give and take but also trust.

I stayed there on a work trip, very funky hotel and I assume it still has the full sized horse lamp in reception.
Our local host warned us that it was not the best part of the city and to watch out for pickpockets etc.
I was talking about One Summer the other day after seeing Ken Sharrock in a Sunday bond film and Mrs DCH watching David Morrissey in Sherwood later the same evening. As a teenager when that came out, I always remember what a great series that was.
I think that is an older series they are repeating. The latest one now has ground interceptors who get help,people in the middle of a scam.
I think it is usually a daytime programme but I would recommend anyone with elderly parents to get them to watch this as it shows how they can get caught...
