In a city the size of Barcelona with so many hotels it is quite amazing how many NSCers have stayed at this same, funky hotel. Either it is because it is comparatively cheap or maybe the OTT sparkly pink decor just appeals the 'Brighton' side of us :lolol:

These are always a useful backup - just go to a stationers or post office and buy a pack of blank postcards (not the ones with pictures of Worthing Pier!). You can also hand them over afterwards as a momento of the day.

I stayed there on a work trip, very funky hotel and I assume it still has the full sized horse lamp in reception. Our local host warned us that it was not the best part of the city and to watch out for pickpockets etc.

I think that is an older series they are repeating. The latest one now has ground interceptors who get help,people in the middle of a scam. I think it is usually a daytime programme but I would recommend anyone with elderly parents to get them to watch this as it shows how they can get caught...
