Saturday was particularly poor which is surprising considering we could have been second if we’d got a result. The atmosphere at home definitely seems to get worse each season and was much better during the championship years as we transitioned into a decent team and into genuine promotion...
If that’s was meant to affect anything in the pitch would surmise it a total failure.
In 38 years of watching the Albion the first time the players have ever rallied out without gosbts. I didn’t like it.
Best friend is a Leeds fan and laughed that we’d paid £40m for him and thought they’d horrendously over paid at £35m albeit looked good in championship. Hope
He’s wrong.
I know people have been singing his praises but I think he looks basic af and raw. He’s got pace but just runs in straight lines mostly into trouble. I’m just not seeing it at the moment. Needs some serious couching about decision making too.
New players, apparently New tactics.. same old problems. Ipswich were dreadful and we barely troubled their goalie. Fabian is going to have to work something out against the park the bus teams or forget European places.
Aaron is a classic case of too much money too soon. Us awarding him that big money contract after his Spurs brace and the impact that had on his ego totally ruined his career.
Agree. Very unfair comment. Steele has done a very good job already this season when called upon and has proven with the ball at his feet there are not many better in the world. We also became a far better team once he took over the season we finished in the top 6.
Got more confidence in Rutter coming good than Minteh, who looks like all he does is run in a straight line straight into defenders from what I’ve seen.
I don’t think our signings are top 4 team signings at all. Top 4 teams buy well proven players over several seasons from top leagues. We are still buying potential from lower leagues or players with a season or so of pro football. Now they may all come good but It remains to be seen how many...
Top four a big stretch unless Wieffer, Ferdi, and O’Riley become top prem class very very quickly. Even other European spots are going to be pretty challenging.
