Who do you want in the next round of the FA cup?

Rochdale or Stevenage at home please. Flying back from Spain for my brother's 40th. If it's a big game, I can NOT go, so would happily take a winnable low distraction game.

    Argentina Primera A 2013/2014 – what a finish

The average points system over 3 years is to decide who gets relegated. It was introduced in the early 1990s to save River Plate from relegation. When that same system relegated them two years ago, the AFA wanted to combine the top two divisions for a season just to ensure River never left the...

    Seagulls in Libya?

Presume the answer is no, but just on the off chance that there are any Albion fans in Libya, I'm working in Tripoli until 7 December. Would be nice to meet up over a non-alcoholic beer!

    [Albion] Seagulls Over Spain

Now I've moved from Pamplona to just north of Barcelona, thought I might see if there are any newcomers to Seagulls Over Spain. It's getting on for a year since the last similar thread which brought quite a good response. Russ

    Seagulls over Spain

Bouncing this thread up to see if any more Seagulls Over Spain emerge. Left the cold winter of Pamplona behind and now living in Mataro, just up the coast from Barcelona.

    Video of Lua-Lua's goal

Anyone know of a decent video of this goal anywhere? I want to show it to a student of mine but I'm not making much progress in my search! I've found one from behind the goal but here must be one from the West stand somewhere!

Albion ex-pats: are you heading back for the play-offs?

Txapelas at the ready and heading back for the Wolves game from northern Spain. Will be back for Wembley too if we get there.

    A tribute to The Goldstone

I've polished up some old photos in Photoshop. Happy memories, but sad and angry ones too!!

Spanish Dave - in the (goalscoring) form of his life!

    Bienvenidos! Greetings from sunny Pamplona!!

Who would you like to face in the Play off semi?

I'd really like it to be Cardiff. They would be on an almighty low having thrown away automatic promotion and have blown it in the play-offs for the last 3 seasons! A further sweetner would be palace slipping to 7th of course!

Let's talk about something other than Gus. You choose. Go on.

We had a 3.7 earthquake in Pamplona today. I took it as a sign that the new Argie pope isn't happy about something.

    Palace v Hull

Didn't see that thread. Have seen it now! Why do people think that we can't catch Hull and so they are rooting for a Tigers victory?

    Palace v Hull

We close the gap on them but the gap with Hull would seem insurmountable unless they lose against Palace.

    Palace v Hull

Dare I say it - do we want Palace to win tonight? If we win and the scum up the road win too, that leaves us just 7 points behind Hull with a game in hand. Dare to dream? Win the rest of our games and surely it's a done deal!!! :O

    El-Abd push

I thought it was quite reminiscent of many of Stuart Pearce's goals for Nottingham Forest when Steve Hodge used to "create" a gap in the wall or gently move them out of the way just like AEA did yesterday. Still amazed it wasn't disallowed for a foul!
