Phoned the solicitor about doing a codicil for my mum's 22 year old will and was told you can't do one if the will is over 10 years old. I can't find any about that online. Anyone know?
Are they luxury though, or cheap builds that will look depressing and weathered in 10 years or less? Those small apartment houses they built behind London Road, near Sainsbury's, look awful now, faded, rain ruined wooden exteriors/cladding, whatever you call it, (why use wood in this climate?)...
I imagine it looks pretty dated now doesn't it? I watched a bit of The Empire Strikes Back t'uther day and it looked sadly clunky, naff dialogue, poor acting, effects showing their age, a classic of its time laid bare by the ravages of time.
Maybe they could do an X-Files reboot and give some...
My mum's just been quoted £500 for exactly the same thing. The price has rocketed. I did mine for a tenner online, got it witnessed, job done, no solicitor.
1984 is one of my favourite books and Orwell was a great author, but I disagree about overly detailed writing, stripped to it's absolute minimum is true art on the page imho. Thriller writer Gregg Hurwitz, my literary hero, is a master of this, never uses an 'and' or 'said' if he can get away...
My record is about 380 pages into a 400 page thriller, could not be arsed to finish it as the dénouement was some 'cobbled together to make everything fit' shite.
 :amex:
I’m responsible for about 46% of the books on those shelves. The beauty of getting the 0530 train into Lewes is that you can dump a whole host of books you want rid of. One morning I did 2 full supermarket bags for life worth, although none of it was Dickens
🤩🥳🤓😜😂
Two fails on that one. His biography is well worth a butcher's though, I settled on that as a substitute for IJ, which I was never going to get through. Very complex individual.
I've read that four times of my own free Willie, and I'm not even sure why.
Wolf Hall
To Kill a Mockingbird (utter gash, 4 serious attempts)
Trainspotting (just can't read the Scotch stuff.)
Peter James (managed two pages)
Harold Potter first book (managed four pages)
A mate of mine has just had a big engagement party for his daughter...even after it came out that the boyfriend had just cheated on her .. for the second time.
Yep and who helps fuel the clicks, helps pay for Robbie Lyle's new red Range Rover Evoque with white leather interior? Fans of opposition clubs posting up links to pantomime shit like AFTV and getting 'outraged'
If you're going click on anything fan related, make it BHA/Han Solo-related, or...
