I was there in South Stand ( and for Dave Bedford too). I seem to remember them being greeted with a chant of 'Who the f*** are you' from the North Stand when they came onto the pitch. I was also there for Norman Wisdom performing his rendition of GOSBTS, cartwheeling around the centre circle.

I always try and wear something blue/ blue & white - trousers, shirt socks, cap, but I have never worn a club shirt (apart from the one in my avatar when I was 9. Ordinary white shirt with blue stripes printed on from Wisden's in Duke Street THE Brighton sports emporium of the day).
