The houses on the new estate at the north of Angmering seem to have car chargers fitted as standard.

[Football] Stop Exploiting Loyalty - FSA Campaign

I understand the difficult decision made but agree with those who have said that we should have an alternative banner supporting the FSA initiative and the supporter of other clubs and are not giving the impression that we are ignoring this issue.

[Humour] Comics that take me back…

This thread was bugging me as, like you, I was a Whizzer & Chips kid but I couldn't remember the other one. A bit of searching and I think it was Buster & Cor that was my other read, with Cor being incorporated into Buster at some point.

    [Albion] Old Albion chants

That is one I haven’t heard for years being sung at an injured player. Not a song but I always remember my Dad shouting “come on ref, wheel ‘em in” when he thought the final whistle was due to be blown.

[Cricket] Cricket- England tour of Pakistan- October 2024

In the office so reliant on BBC text rather than having Sky on in the background but it looks like Crawley dodged a couple of bullets with the run out and then Duckett saving him from an LBW by insisting he should review the decision when Crawley was already walking off.

[Albion] Yet another Amex food complaint

I use US as a quick lunchtime place as there isn't much choice in Burgess Hill (the KFC is really hit and miss). I have tried Smoque a couple of times and they are okay but I've not been over impressed and they are expensive compared to US and not a patch on somewhere like Burger Brothers in...

    [Food] Bread

It's surprising how many people also don't know the simple trick to 'refresh' old bread when you buy a decent loaf by slightly dampening the bread and then putting it into a warm oven for a few minutes.

Very much so. Burgess Hill is consistently good whereas the two in Worthing have been dire the last couple of times I tried.

[Albion] Yet another Amex food complaint

Plumpton would also add VAT as they are served hot from the cafe and probably wouldn't get as much discount as Sodexho if you look at the volumes each place buys.

[Albion] Yet another Amex food complaint

They are good but incredibly over-priced - even for a football ground. Same sausage rolls (and pies) were a couple of quid cheaper at Plumpton races last season (will check again on Monday). When you can buy a box of 6 sausage rolls from piglets direct for £21 at retail prices it shows the...

    [Misc] Brunch

I’ll admit, I was unsure at first but it works really well as the egg yolk stays nice and runny in the potato.
