That penalty looked clear to me. Not sure why there's a debate. Any where else on the field, that's a foul. He shoves the Real Madrid player as he's about to score.
I remember the Liverpool team, and I remember they didn't qualify for the CL that season, but UEFA let them in any way the following season because they won it. But, I also remember Liverpool having a lot of spending power (but Benitez didn't make particularly good use of it). Liverpool also had...
I can see with my eyes every season the favourable treatment Barca get.
Barca have won the CL many times over the years, but Roma have never won it. If Roma were to win the CL this season (unlikely), it would be comparable to Porto winning in 2004, the last time a true underdog won the CL...
1st in La Liga vs 4th in Serie A
€648.3m in revenue vs €171.8m revenue
€372m wage bill for Barca vs €91m wage bill for Roma
Favourable treatment from UEFA refs vs no favourable treatment from UEFA refs

TBH I don't know much about Roma, but I do know Barca have got many dodgy decisions (partly aided by their cheating players) over the last decade in the CL (including last season), so I'm glad they've been humiliated tonight. It's always nice to support the underdog, too...
TBH, Barca got really lucky against Chelsea, so I'm not entirely surprised they are out. They really haven't looked anything special this season. UEFA won't be happy.
Which puts them ahead on away goals.
Hilarious stuff.
Switch over if you haven't already. Great entertainment. Unfortunately I can see Barca getting a last ditch goal.
City have obviously had loads of possession and pressure, but their final moment hasn't been good enough. They haven't created too many clear chances.
Had a perfectly good goal ruled out though.
