Fully agree....he goes missing for big parts of the game....and for a BIG striker he point blank refuses to jump or even challenge for anything high and for what weve spent I do not feel weve got value yet....but time is on our hands of course andI hope he comes good and returns to the form that...
Dickinson = Superb?
He's looked bright on occasions and scored a good goal at huddersfield and I as much as everyone is deseperate for him to be a 20+ goal a season man that we signed him to be......but he's a long way off superb and closer to average.
I'd agree with that...but i'd extend that to the rest of them too. Carlisle was not the best performance in the world...but the stupid little things were in there minority......it was if in doubt kick it out style defending...where everyone just fought for it.....
Commitment wise and no messing...
Im not a huge El abd fan and he doesnt fill me with much confidence...but the last couple of games he's really stepped up to the plate and done what was asked of him.
As for wright.........I wouldnt put him ahead of el abd on the back of what ive seen of him.....mcnulty yes...wright...not for me.
Dickinsons lack of goals in the first few games and distinct lack of effort all over the pitch at carlisle for me means he drops to the bench to make way for the goal hungry Davies.
4 goals in 3 games at reserve level would be enough for him.....I expect he's confident and hungry for first team...
So a Boxster v Bmw Z4?
That would be a tough call.......both can be picked up for around £8,500.
Both would be tough of petrol.....with about 25-30 mpg....determined by how you driving and where urban or motorway.
All comes down to...do I want to spend that much on a car and also.....if...
Well they are about half the price on autotrader......Z3's going from £3200 anything up to 5k plus...
Whereas Boxster start at near 7k....
The running costs is the bit that I have to think about.....a boxster only does 25 mpg
Just got back from little test drive of the Z3 up the country lane......seems a real fun car to drive to be honest....very nippy in lower gears and im sure it would be great from driving about town........not very roomy inside as expected and a little dated interior also..but im not fussed about...
I couldnt care what people will think to be honest mate...as people will judge whatever is bought and Im buying it for me ..and come may when the top is down and ive got someone next to me in there boring hatchback....I know what i'd rather be in.
The only problem is...ive looked at the S2000...
Im test driving one a couple of hours. I believe his is 140 bhp....X reg 00-2001
Imnot looking for something rapid to be honest, as Im not a speed freak....just want something sporty and nippy as most of my driving will be from lancing to brighton.
I think Im best road testing all the small...
In preperation for moving back to sussex........I thought I'd treat myself to a new car.....(second hand...but you know what I mean)
Im looking at the 1997-2003 Bmw 1.9 roadster.
Has anyone got one or had one?
Any sort of review would be appreciated.
Cheers.
I hear what your saying mate.....but how many creative midfielders can one club have?
Weve got creativity in abbundance from Cox, Bennett, Davies, Thornhill & Kevin Mcloed........now surely one of them can cut inside and pick a pass.
We need Dicker and crofts to be slotting defence splitting...
Thought the ref had a good first half and got a little touchy in the secod half....a bit card happy....overall none were pens...so I thought he was ok.
Yeah the support was superb!
Im not an El Abd fan...but he was superb today...he looked very setled...the odd moment of heart in mouth style stuff...but Tunni in the centre really did settle the rest....you wouldnt know thats not our starting back four.
Davies is a box of tricks as he goes...
I dont have a helicopter, I live in Manchester!
Overall a very good performance, a real good work man like shift from them all.........we looked good going forward and was very impressed with crofts and of course Gary God Dicker in the centre, why slade delayed so long is beyond me!
Davies...
Hi mate,
In the clubshop they used to sell a large print picture of the goldstone in a frame.....it was about £50 as I remember rightly.
I was just enquiring into whether that is available now, as I did hear it was a limited addition and when the shop ran out that would be it.
Any information...
