What makes you say that? He scored 36 in 2 seasons at leeds. I know that doesnt work out at 25 per season, but a very good striker who's adapted well to the league, I'd be confident with that scoring record and certainly has to be the best freebie realistic option available.

Yep, that would do nicely...but one does fear with the lack of decent freebies around and no doubt clubs pricing strikers way above what they are worth, that every club in league 1 and championship would be interested. Mr Pardew, another striker maybe!
