From Wikipedia....
On 31 August 2015, after a transfer request, García signed a four-year contract with Athletic Bilbao which included a release clause of €40 million. He scored in his first appearance, helping to a 3–1 home win over Getafe CF where he featured 79 minutes.
No way are the club...
Nope. The official Bruno as captain article appeared on the official website today (Thursday). I watched Liam Roseniors article on Wednesday a few hours after it was posted.
Which begs the question. Did NSC accidentally reveal an exclusive and the club responded as quickly as they could before...
Just watching Liam Rosenior being interviewed on Seagulls Player out in Tenerife and he talks about "Bruno leading the group now, it's fantastic, everyone's behind him".
Did Liam just let something slip, or in the absence of a captain, Bruno takes charge because he was vice-captain?
Totally gutted with the result. However, what a season. Never expected play-offs based on last seasons performance.
With Hughton at the helm and a few strategic changes over the summer should reap rewards next season.
Having been at the Riverside to watch Mike Dean ruin the game by brandishing a red card to Dale Stephens, I now find myself at my desk in Mississauga with Johnny Cantor and Warren Aspinall on Seagulls Player and the official match thread on NSC to guide me through the playoffs.
Having been there on a number of occasions, you should have a decent chance of them showing the game if you ask.
They have a ton of TV's all over the place and seeing as there aren't any Canadian teams in the Stanley Cup play-offs, alternative sports might come as a relief to the locals.
Based on the flight time and connection, the assumption is you're flying Air Canada which uses Terminal 1 at Pearson airport. Unfortunately I have no knowledge of any bars, etc in Terminal 1 where you might be able to watch the game
The Football Factory and Queen & Beaver (my choice of venue)...
