Without getting into a big argument which Championship clubs would you expect to be interested in him? I suggested Portsmouth because of living in Brighton and it is easier to access than Charlton Millwall Orient or Gillingham any of which he would comfortable playing at.

They are some big shoes that will need filling,both on and off the pitch. Four senior players who have given a lot to the club and who 'get' it. I hope their loss won't have a detrimental effect on the dressing room in terms of maintaining what has, by all accounts, been an outstanding team spirit. I can't help but feel all four have been important in that.

I sincerely hope that when Caldi has gone off and got legend status at his new club, retired from playing, won four Best Actor Oscars in his first four Blockbusters,solved the problems in the Middle East, won three Olympic Golds, been Pope for a couple of years, invented a cheap,eco friendly answer to the World energy crisis, and found a cure for cancer, he'll come back to us as first team coach.

Very sad re GG, Bobby and Calde but it had to happen one day. Good luck to Crofts who has been dogged by injury since he came back here and I hope he finds a decent gig elsewhere.

Re Ankergren, when he was extended last year I am sure that the club said that he was being kept on mainly as the training ground keeper. Which is nice.

If your consideration was convenience then yes I would agree with the statement.
Your use of the word sensible implied to me that he would have to settle for something less than he might want.

He is an experienced, versatile, skilful player and the consummate professional.
Offers will come in from teams that are looking for these properties in their recruits.
If convenience is his first consideration, then maybe he will accept an offer from Crawley or Pompey.

My point is, I don't think Calde will be short of offers from championship and League one clubs.
He will be considering those first IMO.
