Why are you sure? Why would they not report it in that case? It would be coup for them. And if they do know more but are bound by a confidentiality agreement, they are acting perfectly correctly.

How do you suggest they find out things that are not being said? Bribes, phone taps ...? It's their job to report what is possible to report. The alternative is to resort to the above or simply to make it up. Is that what you want?
