I must admit it did not sound good. I particularly thought the part about locking the car doors was a bit much, what if a member of the public wanted to get away?
I wonder what the rank and file coppers are thinking?
We all see the game differently, I accept that, but I don't think we did get in their faces and our tempo didn't seem high. I have now also watched the game again on Sky as well as MotD and both say we were standing off or showing too much respect etc.. Of course Spurs are very good and I'm not...
Well Danny Murphy on MotD disagrees with you as do I. We should have gone for them from the start. What's the worst that could've happened - zero points. Well guess what we got zero points anyway. It was an opportunity, but obviously as stated you tow the party line and can not see anything ever...
i think they might move or at least televise the Arsenal game just as it's logistically easy for TV. They don't want to be spending too much money on overtime etc..
I think the whole midfield looked awful. Stephens could not pass the ball forward, Propper was just dreadful and Bissouma first touch was abysmal. At least Bissouma was more forward looking but on the whole it was not good and that's being generous
Totally agree. I was driving and the pair of them thought they were comedians. It's ok to banter etc when doing a 5 day test match but 20 overs is all action and there was plenty to cricket to discuss. It really annoyed me. Fortunately I'm home now so can watch Sky where they seem to take it all...
What next; belts, cigarette lighters, keys, loose change?
This is so heavy handed and addressing a problem that doesn't exist. Barber at his very best.
Well I actually enjoyed seeing some new faces and different formation, it was interesting. I thought shutting the North Stand was a stupid idea. Of course staying in the PL is more important than a League cup run and I'm sure most won't even remember this game if we beat Fulham on Saturday
