I'm normally an early morning runner - I like to get up and out and get the run done but I found this tactic really works for those long runs of, say, 2:45+
That's what I find quite difficult - the fact that you're so screwed after a long run, it can effectively write off the rest of the day.
A couple of times last year I did them quite late in the day so I could just shower, eat and then fall into bed!
I usually have a look at the forum on net weather to get a sense of what those geeks think. Usually they're arguing over one million different models but I just try to get an overall feeling of the way they think its going and they seem to be quite optimistic.
However, for a more rational view...
If I'm NOT on Fanzone before the end of the season, I'll be HURLING my season ticket / smartcard combination from the WSU
In fact, do the cameras even REACH into the WSU? Anyone would think its for the Kids. Do they not know there are grown MEN up there waiting to wave
Did anyone (Lord Bamber / Chimneys?) ever hear back from the club about running vests?
I still reckon they'd be popular. Runners would buy 'em in the correct size whilst if you brought an enormous one, they'd be like a BHA Basketball top!
I took my niece and nephew on the Palace Pier a couple of years ago while their dad ran the Brighton Half - that was the 1st time i'd been on there for about 15 years.
I also haven't been on Brighton beach for about 30 years. Have those pebbles gone yet?
You take these things for granted when...
I've been to Norway twice in recent years and found it wasn't nearly as expensive as the horror stories I'd been told about prices of things over there. Everything was just 'a bit' more than you'd pay here
Yep, I'd love to see Hammond back - loads of energy, scores a few goals and creates chances. He also plays a lot of games.
On the other hand, I was never keen on Harding and as soon as he'd had his U-21 cap he started to think he was the next big thing when in fact, he was a pretty poor left...
I checked to see if this had been posted but couldn't see anything?
I took a wander around the pond yesterday and saw this gem on their noticeboard.
Is it really that bad?
White Fiat Uno (1987) from a very saucy woman in Boundary road for £1750
I sold it after an altercation in a Paris underpass with a big black car being followed by a load of motorbikes
Yep - another recommendation here for RUN and in particular Brooks
After a couple of pairs of so-so Sauconys Kurt suggested I tried a pair of Brooks and I really like them
In the Lewes Road area, up until fairly recently, you had a Shell opposite the remaining BP on the gyratory, a Texaco (was it?) at the bottom of Coombe Road, an Esso up Hollingdean Road and another one along Lewes Road where that 'urban garden' was.
Just goes to show how little is made at the...
Apologies in advance - mild rant
I'm finding it harder and harder to be able to drive onto a petrol station forecourt, fill up, pay, and drive away.
There's far fewer petrol stations in Brighton & Hove than there was and many more cars so they're much busier and add in the fact that people go...
