despite all the flak some people get for starting these threads I always open them.
Why?
Becuase for the last 20 years of my Albion supporting life I have been wondering whether we will sign that chap from Worthing and his mate Bernard who I met in the officers mess a fews years ago.
Even if...
i have huge respect for Plymouth - I was at a clients site about six years ago in the northeast and the client was a huge sunderland fan - that night 'o afucking tuesday!!!' we went to see sunderland at home against Plymouth - and for f*** sake they must have had 2,000 travelling fans.
Whatever...
I wonder how much impact the whole Calderon tea dance had in this. Poyet clearly learnt that stating facts and using absolute terms is perhaps not always the best approach in this game.
I wonder if he is now slightly more circumpect in anything that is said to the press etc.
When I was about 7 I was with my Dad fishing for Bass in The Arun - he then caught and landed a 8lb near the mouth of the millstream in Arundel (just down from the black Rabbit).
It was thrashing about in the landing net and he told me three times to be careful and not my fingers near its mouth...
f*** me sideways - its our very own Gok Kwunt.
Sadly I'm too busy stuck in a suit working every hour God sends to try and earn enough to pay the bills, keep my job and hopefully try and grab a little snippet of pleasure when I can.
What f***ing hat I should be wearing is about important as...
It's a been a tremendous few weeks of weather, some outstanding bbq's' cold beer, the cricket has been excellent and still people are whining about what, to me, are just the usual, same old tea-dances that surround every football club at this time of the year.

Dear me
Is it really impossible to sit back, enjoy what has been a better situation for years without having ocntinous mince-fights about what might happen then, what could happen if, and what probably wouldnt happen unless......
Poyet is here, he will leave one day and the sun...
Did you know that if your two centre halves are shit and slow and out of position it also makes it very easy for the opposition to score direct from a goal kick without anyone on your team getting a touch?
Its so sad TLO......but you are right.
It's almost as if you can envisage a whistle-blower finally blowing the lid on the whole sordid, disgusting situation.
I think it has got too big for anyone to singly deal with - who in their right mind will be the one to de-rail the gravy train and say...
Firstly I would say that despite the banter on here over the years I do support England once my beloved Sctoland are (as always) not attending a tournament.
I had no inkling to be frank that England were capable of such a limp-wristed display as the ones they have served up in this world cup...
So what's your suggestion to the current mess? Keep spending until we all go pop?
For christ's sake its nothing more than common sense....cuts are what is required and that's what happened.
A bit of a no-brainer really.
I'm sure no-one will remember this but one lazy August afternoon a game at The Saffrons was stumbling towards a dead draw in the early 1980's.
Sussex needed about 300 in two sessions after a really defensive declaration by Andy Hill the Derbyshire captain.
In came Imran Khan and smashed 145 in...
