Yep get him over to watch a few games. Is a cracking player one of the best of this generation. Great to see him mention BHA. Clearly knows his stuff unlike a lot of past English managers realising Paul Scholes was the outstanding talent of the alleged golden generation. A talent wasted by England
Not really. We met their valuation for the player so he was sold to us. Burnley failed to match our valuation and the were knobs about it by waiting till its to late to make a sensible offer hoping that Stephens throwing a little strip would of seen the deal over the line on the cheap. Burnleys...
There are a few about it just depends if they are what we are after SS is a good player certainly at this level. There are a few others on the free list worth some consideration, although looking at the list they all seem the moody type. Dani Osvaldo?, Berbatov, Analka, Adebayor all seem to have...
Yep that's how I see him. In a ideal world but him and AK are best suited out wide where their pace and trickery will cause defences all sorts of problems. Personally I'd play Skalak or Murphy in that position but then what do I know
It is frustrating I am as frustrated as anyone as we are 1 player away from a top 2 side. Best we can do is do our best till January and if we are there or there about a again then I'm sure TB will try again.
I agree it does and he was worth the cash but he fitted in to how they wanted to play. Wasn't pretty but they hit the channels used grays pace and hoped he produced some magic or won a set play, from which they were pretty impressive.
Pritchard would of been perfect in this team in a free role...
I'm sure we have tried. Just maybe other clubs haven't wanted to sell their best players either. Or maybe clubs want to much. Or maybe players want more cash. Whatever I'm sure we have been looking for that number 10 since Pritchard didn't happen. No point buying a player we don't want. The...
I think too 6 is still realistic but id be bloody concerned if Glen or Hemed got a nasty injury over the next few weeks. We are relying of Manu to fill in till January at least as 4th striker and valid competition of Baldock, whose not exactly flavour of the month. I am also a firm believer of...
I don t think so. They would bite out arm off if there was any encouragement and get it done before 11. Personally if they hadn't ****ed about and made a sensible offer a few weeks back this would of got over the line. Having ****ed about and waited till today they have shot themselves in the foot.
Don't be a tit. TB has every right to say no. DS potentially he is under contract to BHA. Potentially and only potentially we may offer a extra few K a week to get a new contract out of him with a deal if we don t go up then he can be sold to a PL team in the summer. He's in pocket short term...
He is a good player, very quick can finish and I'd expect him to do well but would be disappointed if he was it. Still he would be better than nothing and may turn out to be very good like the lad Bristol city have taken from Chelsea
