I thought the general mood was that a transfer to Arsenal is disappointing because they’re not the Champions League and don’t really look likely to be any time soon. They’re not in the same league as Liverpool, Man City, Man Utd or Chelsea, nobody would be bothered if Ben was signing for any of...
I think Veltman is a terrific player, but I have concerns over Lamptey’s ability to remain fit and as far I can see Veltman is the only real cover we have at RB or RWB. If we purchase another right sided defender then Veltman can be the RCB but we’ll still need cover at centre back unless...
I’ve been around for too long to be truly surprised as to how many people are pretending that Ben wasn’t a very good player for us last season. Excellent on the ball, brilliant at reading the game so intercepts danger before having to make last ditch tackles more often than not. It’s funny how...
Sam Matterface is ITV’s chosen commentator, and he’s awful. He tries way too hard to shoe horn alliteration, cliche and terrible puns into every single sentence. He’s the sort of bloke that make you want to not go on a stag do if you know he’s going as he makes it all about himself and thinks...
I’m a serial user of the block button, not because I get particularly offended by anyone, but it’s become habit and almost muscle memory like that I hit block every time there’s a promoted tweet on my timeline. I’ve nearly reached 16,000 blocked accounts
It’s there if you want it, but it’s easy to avoid it completely. Muted words is a great feature, I have ‘Kardashian’ muted and I can honestly say I’ve never seen anything to do with any of those talented trollopes.
Personally I find it the best way to seek out news on many topics, I use it mostly for mostly sport. You can be very selective with who you follow so you don’t have to be exposed to anything you don’t particularly care for. I think Twitter is quite misunderstood by many people.
