I ordered my iphone 5 on the day the pre-order went on sale and received it on launch day. They sold out of launch day devices within about an hour or two of going live that time. I am guessing it will be similar this time as well.

CAn anyone rememeber what time pre-orders normally start for Apple? I remember last time that they sold out within an hour of being on sale but I can't remember if it was a case of stay up until midnight or wait until the morning to pre-order.

I'm edging towards the 64gb 6 as well. I have an iPad mini retina so that covers it for video etc. I like a smaller phone generally.

Not sure whether to go for 64gb 6 or 16gb plus. Just can't decide.

Aah OK I just load my video files up onto the tablet in VLC and watch from there so didn't realise there was a problem otherwise.

I'm fairly sure VLC plays mkv files doesn't it?
