    [Politics] Brexit

If this half baked nonsense in/out Brexit is rejected by MP's, then they will simply not allow a no deal. Seems to me that we are closer to staying in the EU more than ever before. On our way

[News] Briton jailed for life in UAE.

Despite its rhetoric, Iran is in a desperate place with USA sanctions. It very much needs Britain and the EU to keep some sort of trade going. We must use what ever leverage we have in getting that poor women home.

    [Politics] Brexit

Mays deal is not acceptable. That would mean agreeing to France re fishing and Spain re Gibraltar. Plus any other EU country that wants a piece of flesh. Otherwise, we cant leave EU whilst accepting their laws without a say. EU will deffo not renegotiate. So, its either no deal brexit or no...

    [TV] I'm A Celeb 2018

I think this might be Gold. There is no way that the Egos of Edmonds and Barrowman are gonna rub along nicely. Add in Knowles leadership qualities and its all gonna end up with arguments and sulking. Redknapp will blindly follow any "leader" depending who it is. I can also see Edmonds...

    [News] Noel Edmonds confirmed

I enjoyed what you did there. But, seriously if people don't lose their hair, keep up with the dye, don't put on weight, then especially for men a few extra lines on the face doesn't really show a difference in age. But, for the rest of us......................

Who exactly was supposed to be Brexit Secretary? Same guy who didn't know who importance of Dover to trade. What Brexit has shown is the poor calibre of politicians in UK. Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk

    [Politics] Brexit

Speculation that Gove will only take the job if he can renegotiate deal. This is the stuff of fantasy. it takes two sides to renegotiate. If the EU say thats it....and we had months of negotiation that takes us to the wire, then thats it. The EU are prepared for no deal. They would prefer not to...

    [Politics] Brexit

I genuinely believe T May when she says there will be no second vote. But, she wont be PM much longer. Whoever takes over now knows that the EU will not roll over and give us a better deal. Mays deal is as good as it gets. So, it will simply be a choice of a) No deal and all the chaos of...

    [Politics] Brexit

The sh*t will hit the fan from all sides. Whatever May has put in place will please no-one. Question will be, whether MPs suck it or reject it. If they reject the Governments plan, then MPs have a duty to put either the prospect of "No deal" or current deal (i.e staying in the EU) to the...

[News] Sarah Payne killer Roy Whiting stabbed in prison

Dont feel sorry for the monster, but I wouldn't cheer the perpetrators either, seeing as they are reported murderers. Wouldn't want Whiting dead anyway. Much rather he suffers a long and painful end to his life. RIP poor Sarah Payne. Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk

[Music] Lesser known album tracks which you believe deserve wider exposure

Absolutely nothing. Very much a throw away song, at a time when they had strong songs for their 1991 LP "Play" I think Chris Difford thought it would be a nothing song, so couldn't be bothered. But you are right, the mandolin makes this song.

[Finance] How much savings do you have ?

I have a separate pension pot - which I cant add to as it is final salary based . Your right about the ISA having a meagre rate of interest - but I need ready access. We have a large inheritance from sale of my Mother in Law house, but as she is alive there are issues over whether Social...

[Finance] How much savings do you have ?

Each month, I have a spreadsheet showing our incomings i.e what I and the Mrs earn, plus child benefit. On the other side is all our outgoings, Gas/Electric, water, petrol, our direct debits etc. I also set out what as a family we will spend on going out that month. Anything left is over is...

    [Politics] Brexit

A bit late, but I have just watched the Peston interview. Not sure why he is referring to "right side of history". as that is in the gift of historians, not a "today" commentator. But, his point about large sections of the electorate (particularly working class" being detached was probably...

Staunch Brexteer James Dyson shows faith in UK by building car in Singapore. Singapore that has just announced free trade agreement with EU. I think the realisation of many leave voters that they have been sold a pack of lies might soon be dawning on them. Check out @LBC’s Tweet...
