I went Monday night, haven't missed a Brighton gig of his for the last few years. Current show (66a Church Road) was less stand up and more monologue but funny/thought provoking at the same time.
Without doubt my favourite comedic 'Raconteur' (sorry to sound a bit poncey but the phrase stand...
Lets face it we're all a little biased here. We are going to have a great stadium soon, supposedly one with a spec unrivalled outside of the premiership. Even when it is complete it still won't be as big as Norwich (or arguably as passionate). Having said that the Stadium thing is surely a red...
Yep ... love it. Listened to every episode of the first batch. Been looking forwards to it's return. Starting with a biggie today ... Alexander The Great!
I'd suggest The Station as well ... Always a good atmosphere and the barmaids are actively encouraged to have their SCHMIDS on display at all times:thumbsup:
I've ended up smuggling cans in for 20/20 games the last couple of years, feel like a bit of a kid ... I wouldn't bother if the club were able to staff the bars to cope with demand but the never seem to learn their lesson.
Sorry to clog up the main board but as it's short notice I thought I'd bypass the Ticket exchange ...
I have 2 standing tickets for tomorrow nights Massive Attack gig at The Dome. Cost me £30, looking to recoup that.
If anyone is interested PM me and we can arrange the finer points ...
There was a Villa fan on another thread strongly suggesting that the Holte End (Upper & Lower) should be avoided ... Can't be bothered to serach for the thread but I think his user name was Andy Capp.
Terrible traffic all over Hove this morning. Hangleton Road/Snakey Hill - proper goosed. Nevill Ave - proper goosed. Ended up going back to Sainsburys in order to join the A27. There was one broken down vehicle on the A27/A23 Eastbound slip but I can't believe it caused that level of gridlock...
Booked with 5 tickets with London Midland ysterday via Trainline.com. Not groupsave as such but came in £17.90 each (inc booking fee) travelling from Euston at about 1045 into BNR at 1300ish ...
Openended return as well ...
I had the same problem ... There was a bit of grit/fluff from my pocket that had got into the headphone socket. Cured it by having a good root round with a unfurled paper clip ...
