Truly appalling albums by acts/bands you like

The album immediately prior to this was Technique?! No it wasnt. The album prior to this was Get Ready. The album pruior to that was Republic. But the album prior to that WAS Technique!

Truly appalling albums by acts/bands you like

Definately their worst album, but was really run down at the time as the media turned on them (rightly or wrongly), which hampered perceptions and sales, but wasnt/isnt as bad as it was made out to be. Theres some rubbish on there; Dustman, Theme from Netto to name but two, but some decent stuff...

    Naked Man on TV now......

Definately radio rental and needs medical help rather than just being banged up, especially as he has done most of his porridge in solitary, which cant be any good for his state of mind. He says that people cant explain why he should put his clothes on, yet he cant explain clearly why he...

    Coventry's new stadium

I was reading about Coventry this very morning. Two of the companies that want to take them over, therefore battling each other for control, are backed by the same hedge fund, SISU, that put the club into administration. How does that work?

It's official, the Tory party are turning us to the bottle

Oh and youre right I dint work through the 1960s and 1970s, but my mum and dad did. In manual jobs. Neither have ever been in a union. But never let some facts get in the way of a not very good story eh?

It's official, the Tory party are turning us to the bottle

No sadder than the current plight of British taxpayers (you are meant to say hardworking taxpayers when youre toeing the party line by the way). Theyve had four and half years of no wage increases, rising cost of living, worsening public services (for which the hardworking tax payer is still...

It's official, the Tory party are turning us to the bottle

Labour sold the gold. Did they then really spend it the welfare state?! Thats quite a leap to make. And totally ridiculous of course. This coalition sold the post office. Who benefitted most from the sale of the post office? the investment bankers who were bought in to advise on how much to...

It's official, the Tory party are turning us to the bottle

Interesting. At the last general election Cameron and his cheif political strategist, Osborne, failed to beat a very unpopular prime minister. No Prime Minister, including the hallowed Margaret, has increased their share of the vote as an incumbant. So given that they couldnt get enough people...

Radio on-air requests [and some Facebook behaviour] ... they are so pathetic

Popmaster is MEGA! Always listen to it if im in the car. Always the same; Dave from Canterbury claiming that usually scores about 360. 10 minutes later, after failing to name any of the beatles, he's scored 4!

The recovery appears to be continuing!!

Sorry. This one will go down better. ONS figures reveal first fall in public sector pay since records began. State employees saw their earnings fall by 0.5 per cent over the last year, while private sector workers saw their pay rise by 1.1 per cent in the same period. Wages are still growing...

The recovery appears to be continuing!!

For some. The number of people relying on food banks to survive has tripled over the last year, according to new figures. The Trussell Trust, which runs 400 food banks across the UK, said it handed out supplies to more than 350,000 people between April and September this year. A third of...
