I had a total career change in my mid-30s, although this was pre-Covid.
Used to work in retail management, had been in retail since I was 16 as I'd never really settled on what I wanted to do with my life. I was totally stuck in a rut, and it was moving up North to move in with my now-husband...
Depends on how they do it.
On our flight, we did 30 parabolas - 10 at 0.75G, 10 at 0.5G and 10 at 0.25G
As the G level got lower, the 'weightless' time decreased. For 0.75, we got about 55 secs per parabola, for 0.5 it was about 35 secs and for 0.25 about 25 secs.
Not huge amounts of time...
Absolutely yes.
I did a parabolic flight a few years ago where I got to experience as low as 0.25G, which was an incredible experience in itself. To actually go to space would be an unmissable chance if I ever got it.
Have you ever actually been here?
Newcastle is a nice enough city, the Northumberland countryside and coast is stunning. Like everywhere it has good parts and bad, but to dismiss it as you have is nothing short of ignorant in my view.
Can we please leave any point-scoring rubbish, from anyone on any side of anything, for other threads and just celebrate a brilliant sporting achievement here.
Thanks.
