The poster had made a serious point about the clear lack of tolerance, and I like to think that he meant that it cuts both ways. With your choice of politicians, it just shows how right he was, as those to the right of you, politically speaking, are the only ones singled out as being apparently...
I have followed your responses over time on the Brexit thread, and this absurd response confirms everything I suspected about you - intolerant, naïve and with your readiness to insult, childish and immature in the extreme.
Yes, undoubtedly you may well have thought differently aged 18, but whose judgement would you back for the national good -yours at 60 or yours at 18? Just because you suspect that 18 year olds might not be keen does not mean that the idea doesn't have merit. as to your second para -good at what?
I simply don't understand how that would be the only way out, as you put it. If the electorate votes leave again, as could well happen, why would those in the Commons so determined to thwart that ambition, be any less willing to do so?
You speculate without any real evidence, other than what you THINK might happen, and having convinced yourself that it WILL happen, then call 17 million people idots! One is tempted to state that it might indeed be you who is the idiot.
HT and I agree on very little, but on this we do, as we both have extensive experience of the German system, and believe me, without any axe to grind, it is far better that than what we have to put up with. But one has to be prepared to pay more and we brits do like things on the cheap. And...
How can you really be in a position to make such a wild statement? Yes, there may have been failures -I really don't know and nor, I suspect do you, and similarly the successes.
Showing that huge forecourt area, there are going to be many houses that need to ne knocked down - assume the residents have all been informed of this . .
But they didn't hurtle past other teams this year, despite their alleged size and owner's wealth, scraping through via the play-offs, so it might be a good idea to just wait and see.
Thanks for that, but do you really have time to read all that? Surely the funding comes from member states, however it is then divided up, and I used to wonder why the member state didn't just pay for it?!
It always amused me when I read about the EU funding projects. I don't doubt that they did, but where did they get the money from in the first place . .
Excellent post, in contrast to what you have had to put up with, and I voted remain, albeit somewhat reluctantly, given that the EU involves another layer of politicians and bureaucrats, with the inevitable consequent corruption, waste and cronyism.
Even though we have never met, this has upset me so much, as I adore dogs. People will sadly let you down but your dog NEVER will. Our lab is 9 and my best mate and I don't know what I will do when the day comes. I am so so sorry for you and hope that time will help you get over the undoubted loss.
