I was hanging onto the possibility that the Liverpool game could be moved to the Monday rather than the Sunday, but that seems unlikely with international fixtures the following week..... Oh well, it's only the third Bills game I'll have been to, we play Liverpool all the time these days!
Anyone get lucky in today's ticket scramble for the games at Tottenham in October? I had 4 devices on the go, ended up with queue positions anywhere between 53,000 and 302,000, and managed to get a pair of tickets to each game. A lot of very disappointed and frustrated people on SM, loads of...
We'd get about 3,500 tickets minimum for Roma, for example, wouldn't we? Regardless, It would make things a lot easier if the club weren't seemingly so reluctant to publish any sort of loyalty points table. England Supporters Travel club are incredibly transparent on this - I know that I am in...
Whilst I tend to agree, it does depend on where you sit in the overall loyalty points table. If you've found yourself in Tier 2, the 10(?) points from Wolves might make all the difference and bump you up to Tier 1. And not *all* of the potential Europa League opponents have small grounds.....
I suspect that there will be an unusually high interest in this one, from people looking to top up their loyalty points total prior to Europa League fixtures.
Hmmmm. Sportsworld trips are usually around the £400 mark for a 'daytrip', which would include flights and transfers to/from the ground, usually with a few hours in the host city before kick off. The main selling points of these trips is that everything is organised for you whilst limiting the...
Or follow the example of England, who require fans to collect away tickets in person at a pre-arranged venue (usually a hotel) in the host city over the 48hrs leading up to the match.
I wouldn't be surprised if the club outsource organised away travel to someone like Sportsworld, who run it for England away games. I imagine the club have got more than enough on their plate......
Also, I *think* I'm right in saying that, as one of the English representatives, we would go straight into the group stage if we were to qualify for the Europe League - which is a guaranteed 3 games in Europe - whereas we would have to go through a qualifer to get to the group stage of the...
A quick dive into my daughter's A-Level Law book has led me to the following:
"It’s not uncommon for injuries to occur to sportsmen and women while playing sport. Unfortunately, the risk of injury is a recognised part of participating in sports and athletics.
Some sporting injuries occur as a...
I mean, that's not going to happen is it? When Roy Keane 'tackled' Alfe Inge Haaland he got a £5,000 fine and three-match suspension. Although the comments in his book got him a further £150,000 fine and five-match ban for suggesting it was intentional and profiting via sales.
I'm going to...
I'm not going to call the lad out by name on here, but I've seen him play quite a few times for Littlehampton this season and it's fair to say that his brain sometimes takes a little while to catch up with what his legs are doing.
There's one called the Premier Non League Podcast (@thepnlp on Twitter) which I've listened to a few times. At least one of the presentors (Trevor Knell) is local, so there's often a Sussex slant to the content.
I went to Littlehampton's away game up there earlier this season, they have a fantastic set-up at Chatham. The return fixture is this afternoon, so I may well pop along.
I'll bear that in mind.....:D
Just thankful I told a little bit of a white lie in terms of my likely finish time, which enabled me to edge a bit further forward on starting time.
Yes, as @Bozza mentions, I find myself in this unenviable position on Sunday (I know of at least one other long-time Albion fan in the same boat). Having tried without success to get a ballot place in the London Marathon for well over ten years, I was delighted to final get a place this time...
