Very irritated as I can’t make Friday but it was a cracking game tonight, really cagey affair but superb defending saw Hawks weather the storm. Hopefully they’ll be going back to Bognor next season.

Does anyone else remember the old stand at The Dripping Pan?
If I remember correctly it cost an extra 3 (old) pence to go in there when I first visited the Pan in 1965!

Great pic - strange to see a grass bank on the South side of the ground!

Yes I do and brings back a fair few memories. At the time I was a police cadet in East Sussex force and being a reasonable 'keeper was first choice for the team. All our home games were played at the Dripping Pan.

There's one called the Premier Non League Podcast (@thepnlp on Twitter) which I've listened to a few times. At least one of the presentors (Trevor Knell) is local, so there's often a Sussex slant to the content.

Whilst another Sussex side, Crawley Down Gatwick will play at Sutton Common Rovers in their playoff to see who plays in the Isthmian South Central next season.
