Cheers fellas. I wasn't sure whether to go to 28s with a deeper tread. I like the Lugano's but coming from a CX bike they seem a little on the bald side for winter riding, just lack of experience i suppose.

General question about tyres on the new bike. It currently has Schwalbe Lugano (700 x 25c) on would the geeks recomend changing to some other tyres for dry winter days & if so what type/size?
New bike has finally arrived & had a quick ride out this afternoon. have to report it was very nice & felt sharper than my other bike.

Ordered my self a new bicycle on Monday, got a call from the shop that it had arrived yesterday & I could collect it today.
Got to the shop this afternoon to be told that they hadn't noticed it was damaged when it arrived (returned to them by another branch) or they would have called to let me...
