Yes, because we missed him playing up top, off of Murray... Not because we missed him playing as a CM like Hughton insisted on for the whole time he was fit alst season

If this thread has confirmed one thing, it's that people read what they think about an initial post and then ignore the rest which might clear up the comment they're about to make.... [emoji42]
I have reread it still stand by the post making it clear I rate what Gross offers us, but I don't...
Absolutely, if anything it felt un potter like to wait till when we did for the change... If Trossard wasn't fit enough for more than he did, PG could have been played higher up the pitch from much earlier.
Clearly I have already got too used to having such a bold and forward thinking manager...
And this is my point Easy! Trossard came in and we went with 3 up top and it changed the game... With PG on the pitch, who played really well as one of 3 up to earlier in the season, why not go to that at half time before making the sub.... Gross would have played far better than he did if he...
Don't be a bellend or literally can you not read? I haven't said I want to drop him, I have said if you can't play him up front then don't play him?
Would you play Salah in CM? No, thought not.
I see Gross as someone who is most effective when he can drop into pockets of space between...
Disagree, his being played out of position in a 3 man midfield for much of last season was the reason why we struggled...

I think some of you are misunderstanding my point... The fact his stats are so good is why we need to play him in a position where he can influence the game, not in a rigid midfield position.
Saturday was the first time I have seen GP play him there and I hated watching it. It felt like he was...
As an all round footballer, for contribution to team tactics over 90 mins, is overrated.
I fully accept his stats can be truly brilliant, comparable to many of the top players in the league, but although he runs a lot, he is very slow and in reality, is a luxury player.
When he can play as one...
Can the refs, under our VAR laws, view what happened on a monitor? IMO the Zaha one today, as well as ours yesterday, wouldn't have been overturned had they been referred to the original ref... Its a huge issue... Refs are gonna see these after and think 'I saw that and stand by my decision'...
It's clearly a hugely psychological thing because the last time the Kiwis lost a WC was when the French marched down the Haka, before that was disallowed

I think people are properly underestimating this.
Didn't we take upwards of 30-35k to Cardiff 15 years ago? Since then we play in a proper stadium, with 23k season ticket holders, some apparent high k's on the waiting list, probably another 10k people with some sort of purchase history...
Sorry I don't think that converts the files? I can play them individually on the existing media players, and over on the TV but for some reason, Elements Premier doesn't recognise the files as videos so I can't add them to a larger video?

Hey peeps, sorry but I dunno where else to go and NSC always has an answer for everything. Just putting together a video of a recent trip to Disneyworld and the old version of Elements I am using recognises every file from every phone or camera except a cheapo GoPro type camera that I bought...
What a c u next Tuesday!
That was absolutely deliberate...
They were stumbling, not sprinting, stumbling. If you can see, and he was looking right at him, any normal person will not put their weight down, you would do would simply collapse the rest of your weight to the side and fall next to...
If only Brady and Belichick would come out and guarantee to retire if they win tonight... Would probably have the best part of a Billion people cheering them on if they did!

Yeah, in a team that got relegated...
He is purely a numbers player. Friend on the train home said Sky Sports Opta thingy had his as MOTM based purely on statistical analysis. I bloody love Excel, databases and statistical analysis but sometimes you have to look past that and say, does he...
Pascal Gross is not a midfielder, simply not. Do you remember Wenger playing Bergkamp in CM any time... No, me neither
