    [TV] ‘Grace’ locations

Might have missed it in the thread, but where was Michael Buried? Which woods? And which pub was the stag do in?

[Albion] Florin Andone just tweeted training pics of himself

Seeing as we miss from 6 yards, maybe we should have kept Murray and simply told him just to stay up front - no running back. How desperate have we become

I think France, Germany, Italy etc need to revisit their reversed plans. The Oxford jab is also very effective for those people over 80 - not just 65-74s

Roadmap out of Lockdown - Feb 22nd

I hope they are sensible about this, but I fear that the goal posts are being moved. This was all about protecting the NHS and saving lives. It is the over 50's and vulnerable who are vastly vastly at risk from COVID. By April those groups should have been vaccinated. The numbers entering...

[News] The Coronavirus Good News thread

You are absolutely spot on with this type of media reporting. Im totally fine with balance reporting of the facts. But the media are obsessed about bringing bad news - with click bait headlines that in many cases dont mirror the story. We are talking about peoples mental health . Cooped up, not...

[News] The Coronavirus Good News thread

I was a little surprised to listen/read from Prof Sarah Gilbert of Astra Zeneca say that a re worked version of the vaccine that would be much better at neutralizing the South African variant would be ready by the Autumn. Thats almost as long as developing the original took place. Maybe, she is...

My mum and dad have both had their vaccines today. Seeing as my brother lives at home and works in a supermarket it has always been a source of concern.

[News] The Coronavirus Good News thread

1300 jabs being delivered to our smallish town - population 19,000 (thats all ages) on Saturday. That is an incredible number of people vaccinated in a single day. I wonder if there is going to be another big push this weekend Ive volunteered to marshal on Saturday pm - I hope the forecast...

    EU and AstraZeneca

I do wonder what the US and Canada are going to say. Most of Canada's Pfizer I believe is manufactured in EU and I also understand that a deal was struck with Pfizer to ship 100m doses by using Sanofi plant.

    EU and AstraZeneca

On page 11 - it does mention UK manufacturing sites. So, dependent on UK Govt having a legally enforced deal to receive first allocation of vaccines.

Notters Driver8 I too am on the Novavax trial my next appointment at the Leeds trial is next week - 3 February. My main question will of course be what are the next steps on whether I take national roll out of Vaccine (particularly as over 50's are due to have it by end of March). Of course to...

    EU and AstraZeneca

Just to add - I wonder what the contractual arrangement is between Pfzier and the EU. I wonder if the EU has asked the US to supply more from its American plants - particularly as it is part German firm. I think we know the answer

    EU and AstraZeneca

Not sure why they have raided a factory - the bit they are interested in, the contracts, would be in the companies HQ - in UK. This all smacks of a deflection from the EUs failings in this. They would be better off working with the company and UK Govt to see how best to remedy the situation...

    EU and AstraZeneca

Im not gonna conflate Brexit (which I opposed) with vaccine roll out. Credit where due the Govt has made the roll out of vaccine supply work very well. But, (and I think it was Bozza who said this) the Govt backed the right horse in AZ. If that horse hadn't come in, we would be relying on...

    [Travel] Holiday plans this summer?

It was one of the reasons why I insisted on fully airline failure on my travel insurance. I know there is a danger of importing the virus or a variant of it, but the fact of the matter is that viruses do mutate and Covid will do so. If we want any sort of leisure industry, then we are going...

    [Travel] Holiday plans this summer?

We booked a holiday to the States this summer. Accommodation and car free cancellation. Virgin allow us two free changes up to December 2022. It was worth a punt. Things look bad at the moment, but things can change very dramatically if vaccines work and numbers of patients entering hospital...
