I totally get the Sully Way or No way - but the hospital and staff who provided such poor treatment should be reported to the CQC for this. Not acceptable and the CQC will investigate. This isn't about lack of resources, its about basic care and actually basic decency - a nurse texting someone...
I think you have to have some kind of natural ability, No matter how hard I tried, or better coached I would never get to the levels that pro footballers get to. Clearly there is something more. Training helps, but so is a dogged determination to work exceptionally hard, never give up (even when...
Off to Moab (Utah), Telluride (Colorado), Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon, Zion NP, Santa Monica, Death valley and lake Tahoe from 21 July. Covid allowing - which im getting nervous about (really dont want to be ill - I hate flippin colds!)
Yes, this.
Bowel cancer, if caught early is one of the easiest to cure. Blood in your poo, or changes in bowel movements (constipation/diarrhea) should always be investigated - more often than not it will be piles or something.
I had ulcerative colitis for years, had many colonoscopies - not...

Going through site, at what stage do you book consultation? It asks for money before I can let it know when my flights are. I dont want to pay, only to find that no consultations available
Also, how quickly are results? Im travelling from Leeds to London the day before my Heathrow...
Im flying to USA in July
I need a 1 day pre flight test. Any recommendations?
Are the Rapid Antigen tests carried out via consultation any good - presumably they are straight forward? Or should I have them carried out in a walk in clinic?
Im 55. I really did not think I would see this sort of crisis on European soil. Where it all ends, no one is sure. If the worse happens I just hope that Ukraine put up stiff resistance and give Putin a bloody nose - which carries on for years with Ukrainian resistance. Also, that the anti tank...
Im really not that bothered. Tony is the main man - now if he were to jack it in.
Yes, Ashworth is clearly talented and will be missed, but a fair amount of the brief he was given has been done. The revitalising of our academy etc. The new person wont be starting from scratch, the foundations...
Coming towards the end of the pandemic in this country (I hope), the Government, business have forgotten what kept us going during the worst of the pandemic. The critical workers. Mostly those that are on low wages, NHS staff, teachers, shop workers etc etc. Its now convenient to forget about...
This.
A lot of landlords own their property(ies) either with a windfall or built up with profits from a portfolio. Its almost free money. My sister lives next door to someone who rents - in a year the property has increased in value by £60k - a nice retirement egg. He has increased monthly rent...
This isnt a one man club (excluding Tony), but Ashworth, however good he is, is replaceable. Im sure that there are others who can do the job. Pretty sure that his BHA team also learnt from him. I would be more worried if Ashworth took the entire BHA backroom with him - he is not
If he goes...
Seems to me that the adults seem ok, reasonable, but are living with a nightmare 14 year old. They too may want to see the back of him soon and he may well start to spend longer and longer periods off their patch.
He might be someone elses problem soon.
My 14 year old self used to have a rule with my 11 year old sister and 10 year old brother that any debts carried over onto next game.
Rule came into effect after I had hotels on Park Lane, Mayfair and all of the green places.

A nurse I know refuses to get vaccinated, along with her husband. Both her and her hubby caught covid. Husband had to go to hospital with pneumonia caused by covid.
Thankfully, the Govt from April has made it mandatory for front line health staff to be vaccinated. She has a big decision to make...
Not sue if this has been posted. Apologies if it has.
An interesting take. on the US army potential vaccine against all variants

I think the word critical says it all - you dont just get there with a runny nose.
Any bed taken in critical care is a bed that could go to someone who is ill - where they cant be vaccinated from it. Getting vaccinated frees up that bed
And of course, those younger people dont pass it on to...
This graph says it all. Critical care taken up by the vast majority of those unvaccinated. Those that haven't been vaccinated should dwell on that. Selfish and not seeing wider picture seems to sum it up.
Totally agree with Tony Blair and the piece in the Telegraph. Someone I know works in health - refuses to get vaccinated. So does her husband. Both caught covid. Husband ends up in hospital with pneumonia. That chap has taken up a bed, that if he was vaccinated chances are he wouldnt need. That...
