I thought we had 5 CB’s in the 1st team squad and any one’s weakness is countered by another’s strength. It’ll be interesting to see what GP thinks is his strongest backline when Lamptey & March are fit to return.

Quality in wide areas is what we’re lacking, Khadra will feature more next season but if there’s any chance of getting Izquierdo fully fit again he’s worth another year at least.

Too many central defenders and centre mids, short of quality in wide areas (Lamptey & March excepted) although Khadra is considered part of 1st team squad now. Jahanbaksh & Connolly not up to PL quality IMHO so need to be moved on.

Won’t be a new contract at 10:30pm. Will be sad to see him go

My worry is he’d suit Everton or West Ham and they can offer more.

Will he need another season out on loan or can we find a place for him in the match day squad next season?

Can struggle against top drawer players but Leeds haven’t got any so was a walk in the park for him today.

My worry is that he’ll get a better offer from another PL club, club should make him a decent offer ASAP not wait til end of the season.
