Bringing Moder on instead of Zeqiri, Tau or even AJ, what was that about? If he doesn’t have confidence in their ability to affect a game then why put them on bench?
Moder looked decent but we didn’t need another central midfielder on in that situation imho.
With Alzate struggling at LWB, I for one am very disappointed that Karbowicz is not deemed sufficiently competent yet to cover that position.
It’s also surprising that Izquierdo nor Andone werent given 45 - 60 min run outs
With the news that Webster’s out for the foreseeable and Karbowicz played for the U23’s this afternoon, I’m going for this:
————————————-Sanchez——————————-
——————White————-Dunk————Burn—————-
Veltman————————————————————-Alzate
—————————Bissouma——Groß—————————-
—————-Trossard———-Maupay———-Mac...
If I were TB I’d be asking Ashworth in his opinion is it just bad luck stopping us win games by scoring 2 or 3 or something else tactically?
CH wasn’t afforded a chance to rectify his failings in 18/19 or given the squad/budget GP now has available to him and chances are we won’t finish much/if...
—————————Sanchez—————————-
————-White———Dunk———Burn—————
Veltman————————————————-Alzate
——————-Bissouma—-Groß————————-
——-Trossard———Maupay——-Mac Allister——-
Still expect him to throw a curveball in but hasn’t happened for a while now.
The side that won at Newcastle to win promotion were all Mullery’s signings except Horton & Ward so hardly Taylor’s team.
The style and results we had under Mullery to win promotion from Third Division to First in 3 seasons have only been matched in part by Hughton’s and Poyet’s promotion...
Would have believed it a few weeks back with Welbeck and Connolly missing but seeing as both are fit now can’t see it unless 1 of those and Tau & Zeqiri have tested positive.
