Probably nothing wrong with it, just I would rather not be on long term prescription drugs if I can avoid it. I also understand and sympathise if this is your only option, it’s just one I’d rather not take if there’s a better alternative
Thanks for that, like you I’ve always tried to avoid actual prescription drugs when gout has reared its ugly head. Definitely don’t want to end up on allopurinol for ever.
I only get the very occasional attack but as well as cherry juice/cherries and hydration I also find it useful to have a...
Went to Bardonecchia about 6 years ago for my first skiing in years and thoroughly enjoyed it, hope you do too.
Got my first trip since then booked for end of January in Sauze d’Oulx, staying at Sportinia up the mountain so should be fun. Mrs S is also coming this time for her first proper...
To be fair the fact that a snake like Farage can ‘rehabilitate’ himself through eating shit in the jungle says more about our dismal electorate than it does the politicians. The public gets what the public wants…
Not something I’ve seen reported anywhere I’d trust. I would say the obesity epidemic in this country has far more to do with increases in early deaths for middle aged and looking at the size of the average person in the street it’s only going to get worse, Covid or not
A few years ago I volunteered as a ref for a kids 5 a side tournament in Worthing as they were short of refs. I was mainly allocated the youngest age groups and the kids themselves were fine. There was the occasional gobby parent but I wasn’t prepared for the level of abuse I got from a couple...
On the odd occasion that I stood at the back of the chicken run there was always a steady stream of people visible walking along the Old Shoreham Road from about 85 minutes. Obviously not the same amount of added time in those days
I don’t recall transport being an issue at the Goldstone yet plenty left early there too. Been the same for years at every ground I’ve ever been too. Some people get to a certain point and decide they’ve seen enough. Their choice, though not mine
On the bus from the long stay car park at Gatwick a few years back a guy closely resembling Roman Atkinson got on at the next stop and sat on the next set of seats to me and Mrs S. I spent the rest of the 10 minute journey wandering whether it was him as he didn’t say a word and was looking...
Problem is he is the only celebrity that I have personally witnessed shit behaviour from, yet he more than redeemed himself. The exception that proves your rule, if you like
I’m going to put Chris Eubank in both categories from personal experience.
Shit: back in the days when you could drive across the front of Brighton station there were disabled bays at the front. Just as I was crossing into the station I saw Eubank berating a warden who had asked him not to park...
