    Forster bitching at Murray

I agree, Forster worked really hard in the first sixty minutes up front on his own with little support, and naturally he tired as a result.

    Forster bitching at Murray

Murray tried to set him up with a square pass but unfortunately the defender got a touch. If Forster was in the same position he wouldn't have passed, but if Murray had shot and missed Forster would probably have bollocked him. I think it's just symptomatic of the position we are in. Everybody...

    Question for you oldies...

My Dad used to take me. He stood next to the tunnel (south side) and I stood at the front. Graduated to the North Stand with mates from School but didn't go every game during the lean years (bad fan), started going more regularly around 1976 for obvious reasons.

    Carlisle's Midfield

Well we had a four man midfield and only one up front

    'Papering over the cracks'

I wasn't convinced last season that Wilkins had us playing in a style that was either pleasing on the eye or which would help us progress. There was too much long ball and not enough progressive passing through the midfield and out wide. However I was rather gobsamcked when he was sacked after...

    Carlisle's Midfield

Not yesterday we didn't, perhaps Mickey thought they were there for the taking, if so it backfired.

    Carlisle's Midfield

In all the furore over our performance yesterday, not many people have acknowledged the quality of the Carlisle midfield. Kavanagh was sheer class, quality touch and passing, and a busy player. Bridge-Wilkinson was excellent too, a player I have always thought should be able to play at a higher...

IS there a point to Tommy Fraser?

I disagree, at the time it looked like we were going to lose by 5 or 6. As it was we lost by 2 and were pushing on at the end. That was partly down to stemming their forward movement. The formation at the start was too attacking. Two wide midfielders/wingers who cant defend, and a central...

Adam El Abd is an insult to every other professional footballer in the country

I'd be surprised if the News of the World reporter was at the game (especially on that evidence).

IS there a point to Tommy Fraser?

Oh and on Fraser, we had too many attacking players in midfield, and they were running riot, he came on at 3-0 down, and we managed to stem the tide a little.

IS there a point to Tommy Fraser?

Our Man of The Match in my opinion, some nice turns, but unfortunately there was a lack of support when he had the ball. I think he was disappointed with the display, he wanted to do well against his hometown club.

I was sat pretty close, and in my opinion it was around twenty people.

    fans entitled to there opinion

We all have the right to express our opinion, but generally on here the opinions all run hot and cold. Perhaps we could do with some more considered opinions, rather than the extremes that we are generally exposed to.

Adam El Abd is an insult to every other professional footballer in the country

It isn't even the worst we've played there in the last three seasons. Two years ago we couldn't even pass to each other (although El Abd had a shocker that day).
