I will 99% of the time encourage the team right to the very end but yesterday Im afraid I could not do this as the lack of effort but certain members of the team did not deserve it for fans who had made 1 of the longest journeys in the game to put in a performance like that was nothing less than shocking, but what got me even more irate was when myself and other people around me got told to `f*** off and go and support palace!`and certain other comments, why would I want to do that just because I am unhappy with my teams effort that doesnt make me any less of a supporter than the next man, if other people are happy with not complaining that is also there opinion but I apolagise on my behalf and others if this offends other fans if your happy to travel 700 miles and watch that fair dos.

Thats exactly how i felt. And worse that's also exactly how my dad felt as well, who's been supporting us for 35 years, and today was the first time i've seen him not clap the team off at the end.

We're not serial moaners, and we wouldn't drive for 4-5 hours there and back just to moan for the hell of it (although it did look like some people had done that, and were moaning within 2 minutes), infact for us it was the opposite, that long drive made us more intent to try and enjoy and encourage, but the performance yesterday just left us both shocked and speechless. Its the worst i've ever seen us play.

It's not often I think this - but I'm bloody glad I didn't go yesterday. A small group of us were actually planning on flying up to Prestwick & hiring a car, but the time we had to get the car back before flying home didn't add up. Well done to those who got their arses up there, but it sounded horrendous. You've got every right to be angry IMO.

I booed the team at half time and after Carlisle scored their 3rd goal and sang my disapproval as well. Nevertheless I still clapped the team at the end as it would have had a negative effect for Tuesday if they had been booed off at the final whistle.

The players are not kids they are grown men who get paid very well for playing a sport we would all cherish.Its a massive bollocking and extra training they need,so applauding them is the wrong thing.

It is not our position to reprimand or bollock the players. That is down to the manager and you would hope that he does this. It is our right to show displeasure if you do not feel the team/management are pulling their weight.

Question for Elder for England - How do you plan on showing your displeasure or showing your feelings if you do not think the management are up to the job? You have said that you never leave early, never boo, go to most/all games and always clap the team.

I get your point of course,but if adams isn't doing the bollockings then the fans are there to remind him of what they think.Diffrence in football is that fans pay shite loads to go and deserve to have there opinions heard.

I've just watched the TV highlights and seen myself clapping after we scored the consolation goal as was everyone else. Perhaps we should have stood in silence as a protest ?

We are talking about footballers and a football manger, I'm sure they know when they've had a bad game and therefore can come to the conclusion that the fans won't be happy. I don't always clap them off, when the game finishes I sometimes just stand up and leave my seat, I don't see the logic in booing, especially when people do it on a whim or too easily, for example at half time. If I go to cinema and don't like the film, I wouldn't sit and mindlessly boo, what would that do?? I would speak to the person I've gone with about my thoughts on the film. What good does booing do? Really? Do you think players hear it and will automatically play better next game? No because it doesn't work like that.

With regards to the management, I can have an opinion on whether he is right or not but it isn't up to me whether he should be in charge, that's Knight's decision, just like your boss at work, you wouldn't go and tell him he wasn't up to it, would you?
