Those are only UK figures. As I have already said, the Guardian has many readers globally than the Sun - 42 million at the last count. Whether anyone in Boise or Woolloomooloo is i nterested in LR's thoughts is another question entirely...
That's a bit disturbing, my missus and I go to a different European city each year - last two have been Berlin and Budapest, both great - and this year we are going to Tallinn!
The claim by BG was that "far more people" would read Rosenior's article in the Sun then they would in the Guardian based on the fact that the Sun has far greater physical sales than the Guardian.
All I was saying is that it is not quite that simple...as you demonstrate by using UK only...
I don't see that that is a problem at all. Surely fans who have supported the team away for non-galmour ties should get priority when the glamour ties come round over those who never go to away games. It's a form of JCLism - "I've supported The Albion for 17 years but never been away but as it's...
Not necessarily true. The Guardian is the tenth most popular on-line news site in the world and second only to the Mail Online in the UK. It has 42 million unique visitors each month which certainly compares favourably to the Sun's circulation of 1.6 million.
More than one person will read each...
If the idea that all Dutch people were tall had been part of a package of stereoptypes that were used to subjugate and enslave the Dutch then, yes people would get offended.
The idea that black men have large penises is part of a whole branch of racism that sees black men as sub-human...
Really? Nothing at all to do with gender bias, societal expectations and stereotyping built up over centuries? Yes, there are some jobs that men on the whole will do better than women because of the physical strength but being a leader is not one of them.
Any way, I'm done - you just carry on...
Just repeating that men make better leaders doesn't make it true.
Some women are seen as strong, capable, able to perform under pressure some men aren't.
But you said "men make better leaders"; you now seem to be saying "men make better leaders when fighting is involved which the leader may have to be involved in," not quite the same thing..
Do you really believe that the reason that there have been so few women leaders throughout history is due to leadership ability? If that is the case, why are there so many more female leaders now than there were 50 years ago (let alone 150 years ago)? Have women somehow got better at leadership...
School uniform rules are an area which have caused a problem for a number of schools, for example many schools have had rules that say girls can wear a small pair of earstuds but boys are not allowed to wear any sort of ear jewellry. A boy at a school near me was sent home for wearing earstuds...
Exactly! He's Colombian FFS. What happened to the casual national stereotyping for which this thread is famous?
He won't just fight - probably has a knife in his sock - he'll kidnap the opponents' family.
