In the 'good old days' buses companies were a public service and not private companies out to make a profit. As such they could put on the extra services that you suggest.
I have to disagree with you about the parking on the pavements in Elm Grove. I have seen cars parked on the pavements on the corner of Howard Road and Elm Grove that make it near impossible to see traffic coming down Elm Grove, this aligned with the selfish people who have parked on the double...
Ideas for improvements to the Vogue Gyratory:
1. Move Sainsbury's to land earmarked for housing at Preston Barracks site.
2. Build new housing on Sainsbury's site at Vogue Gyratory.

Lack of modernisation? In 2008 Royal Mail invested in about 565 brand new sequence sorting machines for mailcentres and delivery offices around the whole UK. If that isn't modernisation then I don't know what is.
Looks like a good area for solar panels to me too. Other methods of renewable energy that could be used at the stadium and thus save the Albion money are:
Air Source Heat Pumps
Ground Source Heat Pumps
Wind Turbine
Plus there is micro-generation technology too:
Micro CHP
Considering the stadium was only built just over two years ago I cannot understand why there was never any renewable energy included within the plans for the stadium.
The Napier has been in decline since Matt and Christine left last year. Fullers have really made a good job of ****ing it up in the last year. Let's hope the new landlord can revitalise it.
