Indeed. Any shortfall in promised vaccines anywhere will translate directly into an increased loss of lives. But hey ho, gloat away... They won't be British lives, so it doesn't matter eh?

Possibly the greatest running gag in movie history...
All non-essential* shops over here are shut anyway for the moment as part of wider lockdown measures, so curfew won't have any condensing effect there. Although it is a blow for collectors of late-night novelty dildo corkscrews, I do realise.
"Normally", pre-curfew, most Dutch supermarkets...
A sign of the times. My sister had her Tesco order delivered by an EasyJet pilot the other day.
I did have to ask how he managed to get the Airbus down her narrow street...
As has been stated before on this thread, a lot of stars needs to align to make a truly great gig. The band has to want it, the crowd has to be up for it, and you have to be up for it among other factors. I've been to a lot of gigs in the last 44 years, and seen bands that I love turn out to be...
Born in Hayes, so Hayes and Yeading United.
Nearest league club would be Brentford I guess...
But nearest league club by the time I was old enough to know what a football was (3-ish) would be BHAFC.

Didn't have airco, just a fan. I know what it feels like to die in southern Ontario...
De Politie.
Although every time I see one on the street I have an irrational urge to shout "You'll never take me alive copper!" and then run off whilst waving my arms about like Kermit the Frog.
Fortunately thus far I have resisted said urge...
I can only assume I must have done something...
I went to grammar school in Kent, so Gypsy Tart, Gypsy Tart and Gypsy Tart all the way.
Basically brown sugar, evaporated milk and more brown sugar whipped up into a cream and baked in pastry. It can probably make all your teeth fall out from 50 paces, but when you are 12 with a sweet tooth it...
I guess I'm probably the only one here who gets Madness in his head each time I read the thread title:
"I've been drinking in my seat
It's not quite a Jaguar..."
Granted, the original scans a little better.
The Dutch piece says "Het akkoord tussen NAC met AS Monaco over Van Hecke van begin juni lijkt een zachte dood te sterven."
Meaning: "The agreement about Van Hecke between NAC Breda and AS Monaco from early June appears to have quietly died a death."

BN De Stem is a local Breda paper. In the paper's original piece they are saying the rumour comes from "several well-informed sources", which could mean absolutely anything (or nothing) of...
