No, you are mistaking what the enquiry is about. The banning orders were given out for a specific incident. What I said was that the UK investigation team are reviewing all footage.

The bans were handed out by the court based on the video evidence presented. That is the legislation, whether its correct or not is not for me to decide. you have hit the nail on the head regarding the sentencing structure.
There are many times at matches over the years that we have...
I disagree with parts of that. There is still an enquiry continuing over here as to the events that happened in Marseille and that, before you ask, is not just focussed on UK Citizens.
I am not commenting on why or if the French police could have arrested at this stage. I maybe able to at a later stage.
Regarding personal opinion, I am presuming you would expect me not to answer. I don't make the legislation and how it is interpreted. However in the case of civil banning...
It is correct that Sussex Police provided a statement. As I said before the decision to apply for the ban was made by London and the decision to ban was made by the magistrate.
Gents ( and ladies who are reading this)
I am answering the thread as I was made aware of it. As most of you know I do read and comment on NSC so conspiracy theories out of the window, that's what I do. I have also had a ask the police forum on this board for many years for persons to ask...
Afternoon Trueblue
Thanks for your kind comments re railway side. I will pass this onto my Match commander for future games and also the club. Very sensible comments and I will look at this the next home game.
Cheers
Darren
I know Sarahs family will be overwhelmed by the messages on NSC and it goes to show the Albion community is strong. There maybe disagreements at times, but it is one I am truly proud to be part of.
I saw Sarah a few times whilst she was in the hospice and she was her usual self. Wanting to know...
Hello El Presidente,
The information is part of the electronic turnstile operating system at the Amex. This is owned by Brighton and Hove Albion and not accessible by Sussex Police unless on request.
I record the attendance given as the declared attendance at games which is the one you see on...
Dear All,
The traffic lights are manually controlled on match days by stewards who have been approved by East Sussex County Council. Police used to do this but part of the close season review was to train stewards to do this. The simple reason is that it saves the club a lot of money hiring...
This, to the best of my knowledge, is a steward only system and not for supporters. This is used by lots of organisations for clocking on and off. The club have visited other clubs who use this system.
just to clarify some points here
There is nothing new in way of legislation. The Crown Prosecution Service are merely putting hate crime alongside other offences at football which MAY be considered for a banning order if a magistrate or jury find a person guilty of an offence.
No one at a...
Peter always spends many hours with Sussex Police and other agencies across the world doing research for his books. I have spent many an hour with him not only at the Amex but at Withdean. He was truly blown away by the stadium and the support the Albion receives.
He will be with me again for...
Dandyman, Just to clear this up once and for all. Sussex Police have had no part in this. They are conditions on the ticket which is for a private event. The clubs have decided the conditions not Sussex Police.
Hi
Yes they were. The issue of persistent standing is one for the club to manage, however where reports of verbal abuse and physical assaults occur, we are duty bound to investigate should the aggrieved wish police action.
Hi, Unfortunately I do not make the law and it is there for a reason. However I do agree that it is in place and designed for wholesale ticket touting as opposed to the casual fan. Until there is a change in the law I can understand Bozza's decision to take the ticket exchange down as the club...
